Welcome 70 degree weather! I've been dreaming of a week like this one... the only difference between my dream and a reality is that, being sick during this time, wasn't a part of the dream... Well, I guess it was my turn.
I'm just so excited to see the first signs of Spring. This one was beside Alenka's school:

These are by our house. I know there a lot of them in full bloom, but we have a lot of shade, so they just begin to open:

This is one of the sure signs of Spring. "Мы обычно начинаем вытаптывать травку до того как она еще позеленеет". Fifteen pictures are taken and none of them is perfect... well, that IS just the way we are - not perfect, but fun!When I was making a quilt for our baby, Liana kept asking when am I going to make one for her. So, I made a quilt top for her. It was actually the fastest one I ever made. I worked on it for just a couple of hours on Monday. Now I need to finish the back side, so she can use it during summer. I guess, you can tell I was thinking of Spring when I picked the colors...

ОтветитьУдалитьI can't believe that it's been warmer here than in Myrtle Beach this week! It's awesome that it turned out to be like this right on my spring break because I can FINALLY get some exercise after months and months of inactivity. Still haven't created anything yet as far as layouts...

ОтветитьУдалитьAnya that is so funny, I was just going to write about your header when I opened your page cuz it does not go with the weather and then I read the very last thing you wrote haha :-D anyway, agree with Anka, just love the quilt and the cherry blossoms on it! Really does make you think of spring, happy weather ;-D and the picture… ew! I don’t like it! But remembering Katka’s laugh, and all of us could not stand still for a sec cuz of laughter… well it really was fun! :-) and I do feel bad for your grass, cuz this year it really will not have time to come out! V O L L E Y B A L L :-D yay!!! But I guess I’m joining you on the “sick” party :-( I really feel yucky! Being sick in this weather is just not right! ;-/ But I still made myself get up and go for a walk in this gorgeous weather with my husband to an ice cream shop 1 ½ from our house :-D and no, I didn’t have any, my throat hurts :-/ but the walk was wonderful and sweet! ;-)
Ohh and the “baby” tryng to jump out… he-he… that is cute! :-) and no, not bragging, but… I WAS THE FIRST ONE WHO FELT HIM KICK!!!!! YAAAYYYY!!! 4 TIMES!!!!! na-na-na-naa-naa ;-D he looooves me already! :-D
ОтветитьУдалитьOhh and Anya thanks for the spring pictures, now I’m going to put that cherry blossom picture on the background of my computer at work :-D everyone (my patients, including Tanya) always comment how they love my “picture slideshow” on the computer and I have to explain to them its my sisters pictures. So they like them too. If it wasn’t for your pictures the screen would just be boring, blue, with BENCO on it :-/ yuck! Well I do add other ones that I Google, but more of yours :-D thanx

Yea I got spoiled by not having my doctor for 2 wks and now that she is back we are so busy. But it's OK, at least I am sitting here at my desk and the sun is shining and every few minutes I step outside to get some worm fresh air.
