I felt like playing with stamps last night. I made a bunch of butterflies using the Martha Stewart butterfly stamp set and made a layout using them. Butterflies were stamped onto different shades of pink paper and heat embossed with white embossing powder.
These pictures are from 2006, and were taken at Hershey Garden. That place was absolutely gorgeous. As soon as we entered, the first thought that crossed my mind was that it reminded me of Paradise, and we heard the same thing repeatedly from other people too.
I don't make a lot of cards, but sometimes when I get pieces of paper left after making a layout I make a quick card. It saves time by using what you already have, since papers have been chosen for the layout. Here is my card:
I hope you did something creative today!
Suzanna made a mistake. One of the sentences is too long and the other doesn't make sense.
ОтветитьУдалитьyeah.. I noticed that too
ОтветитьУдалитьLove, love, love this page!!! I'm not a very flowery/butterfly person, but I just love how it looks and ties it all together. Are all the butterflies done with punches? Very cool, and do I see journaling being hidden by the butterflies? :)
ОтветитьУдалитьThank you Lora! Butterflies were cut out by hand and words behind them belong to the piece of paper I used. :)
ОтветитьУдалитьYou didn't keep me posted, and didn't say that the gathering is going to be this Sunday. ??? :)
ОтветитьУдалитьLora, life is so unpredictable and that's what makes it fun... It seems right now that I will not be able to attend not only gathering but anything this sunday. Liana is very sick and doctor says it's usually last 4 days and that includes Sunday. :(
ОтветитьУдалитьWe'll make it happen someday anyway!
well, I'm not very dissappointed because I don't have it done yet.....I know, I know, it's taking me a while.... yes, it will happen, one day :)
ОтветитьУдалитьLove that butterfly page, it so playful and sweet!
