What is your favorite season?

My favorite has to be the "picking" season! We love to pick anything (except for the toys from the floor or stuff in the backyard). And how can you not? There's always something so special about the way I feel out there... fresh air on the field... childhood memories... appreciation for life... Here are a few pictures from my favorite season:

I hope you can find some time to go strawberry picking... Oh, and don't forget to snap a picture or two. These were the part of my May Everyday project.

    AGREE!!! Love the "picking" season! The pictures look so good, and the strawberries so yummy! Cant wait for the cherry picking though… my favorite! And blueberries… yum! Now I want some fruit!!! Oooo... or fruit salad? yes... well no, just fresh fruit!!

    Anya nice pictures, and picking season is for sure my favorite.

    Truly one of the great times during the year, it sure does remind me of my childhood for sure, when we would climb the cherry tree in our back yard (the tallest tree in the neighborhood) not only could we eat the delicious fruit, but also see the whole neighborhood! :) Will go this year again for sure, now we have to, with those beautiful pictures :D
    Anya, you always seem to make everything look even more delicious on the pictures :)))

    "Climbing trees" loved it v detstve, mi tolko vspominali s family kak eto bilo interesno. A y nas esho bilo derevo s abrikosami nad pesochnitsoy, i mi posle lakomstva prigali na bashnu peska. We should really find some trees for our kids to climb on.

    Tanya, you must have read the journaling for one of my pages in mini book! I wrote exactly the same story yesterday! But, you were too nice to finish that story... remember how you had to wait for me to jump, and then had to climb backwards anyway... yeah, DETSTVO - nothing can compare with that!
    Lora, does that mean all neighborhood could see you kids on the tree too? I guess it was easy to explain to little kids - where do kids come from? - they grow on a tree :)))

    HAHA u guys r funny... I always wondered where I came from... just wish I grew up on a skinnier tree. Anyway, agree with the whole tree thing, have so many memories climbing tree's, mostly how we would put the cherries in our shirts and mommy was never happy of the stains we left... it was fun!

    Ewww Anya you just completely ruined the "enjoyment" of my memories and "picking" season... the white bubbly stuff on strawberries, the stink bugs, and the worms inside the cherries and peaches and apples... i'm not hungry anymore...

    Hahaha, funny! I'm not sure if the whole neighborhood saw us or not (they probably did :) but we didn't care, it was so much fun. My mom of course didn't think so when we would drag Lyudvig who was 2, along with us because he would cry at the base of the tree, so because the tree was close to the roof, we would get him on top of the roof and he was happy there.....well, let me tell you...not my mom!!! Kogda vo dvore stanovilos tixo i v dom nikto ne pribegal, ona vsegda mogla naiti nas na krishe doma. Kak priyatno ei bilo potom zalazit tuda i spuskat Lyudviga, a to zataskat tuda ego mi mogli, a uzhe spustit...drugoe delo :) Sashka, tot esheo xitrets, pomogaya emu tuda zalazit, on obeshal chto ne budet boyatsya spuskatsya, a kak vniz...ni v kakuyu, opeat mama bednaya na krishu lezla, a za nee on derzhalsya tak silno, chto ne rastsepish..... Yea...five kids on the roof ages 8,6,5,4,2...not very fun for mommy :D No teper xot est chto vspomnit :))))

    haha, kids growing on trees :D at least Ira now as we can see knows where she came from ;) Ira, uspokoisya, opeat nachinaet! The tree you came from was a very beautiful tree!! (that looks good in lavender ;)

    Yes, I do remember the occasional surprise in the fruit...lets not talk about that...although I don't remember having too many of the intruders. A u vas chto tam, stink bugs bili?

    Haha Lorik, thanx for the "lavender" ;-) u always make me feel better. And the stink bugs... no, we didnt have them, but i HATE them so much that i thought i should include them here. But they do eat fruit, so i'm sure u will see them if go picking now :-/ i thinks thats one of the reasons i didnt go this season, well "yet", i'll go Cherry picking :-D

    Лора, there you go, you have your journaling done! Now you need to add a picture or two and - tada your memory is recorded. And, if you ask Zhenya, he might tell one of his own stories about tree climbing... or maybe we should do that for our next challenge... :))

    The weather is finally so much better, not humid and hot like it was for the past week or so. Gives opportunity to go do something outside.
