Spellbinders Blog Hop

Good morning paper crafting friends! Today I am happy to be a part of the Spellbinders Blog Hop and share a project I created using some of the dies from their latest release. To celebrate, Spellbinders is giving away a $50 gift certificate for their products! I created a square card that measures about 5.25x5.25" and used two new dies sets: the Shapeabilities Happy Birthday w/Numbers Etched Dies Special Moments Collection by Marisa Job and the Shapeabilities Vintage Stitched Squares Etched Dies.

For the layered background I used the second and third largest dies of the Vintage Stitched Squares to cut a layer in white and polka dot pink, adhering one of them with pop dots to the card. And for the sentiment I used the Happy Birthday w/Numbers Dies. I cut this piece twice from white cardstock and adhered them together for a thicker layer. This piece was also added to the card with a very thin slice of foam adhesive.

To finish this card I used a pink bow, a few flowers, fussy cut leaves and delicate die cut flourishes, that were cut with the August Large Die of the month by Spellbinders.
