December Daily - days 2 & 3

Hello DD makers! I'm back to share two more days in our DD album. I've made it clear to myself that SIMPLE is my goal... but quickly realized that I don't want simple to be boring. I don't want my DD album be a mini PL, (which in my case has strictly pictures and journaling cards without any decorations). After all, this is a Holiday album, so I've added a few die cuts and more sequins...

Day TWO:

I have added my journaling on a white cardstock with a die cut border. This piece sits without sheet protector. I also printed a 3x4 calendar in matching colors...

 

 

Every year I did a grid page with little snapshots of our Holiday Decorations throughout the house. Since my kiddo was still very sick on December 2, we didn't do much exciting things, so I just took a bunch of photos of our decorations, so we remember these details too.

My printer was getting low on ink, which produced not so great quality images...

Since Day 3 had all black and white photos (has to convert them because of their quality) I decided to add a pop of red color to this spread to make it a little more exciting.

Day TREE:

It has our first envelope with notes/letters.

Ever since our kids were small, we always bought a tin of popcorn around Holidays. It's became our tradition. Yesterday we opened our popcorn and had some fun together while eating it. Well... basically, you have to see videos of our little one when he was eating it and when he was trying to catch the popcorn with his mouse like his older sisters did :))

That completes our first three days.
