Purple and lavender...

Today I was creating in purple and lavender. Unfortunately this creation wasn't for a happy occasion. My cousin lost a grandmother on her husband's side. I've never met this woman, but I believe she was a very nice person, making that conclusion by how much her family members wanted to get flowers in her favorite colors.

I also did a little basket, since I had some greens left over. This could be given to a close family member...

And a matching card to go with it. I created the card this morning...

If you know me, you probably know that I work with flowers often and I love doing that. I don't share a lot of that here, but thought I'll add a picture here today. I know, this is not one of the happiest posts, but such is life - "В нашей жизни встречи, расставания, грусть и радость тесно сплетены..."
