Published!

I am honored...

Layout "Make a wish"...

Project Life kit Midnight Edition.

Birthday cards...

Hi! I couldn't get back here last night to add a picture of a card, so instead of posting it here by itself, I decided to make two more. I just love to use up leftover after a page to make cards. Here is my newest set:

For the cards I used: papers by Les Papiers de Pandore, flowers from Prima,  brad from My Mind's Eye, stamp set by Fiskars, ribbon, cardstock and pearls. And if you are interested here is each of them a little closer in the order they were created.

One:
Two:
Three:

My girls (and nieces) like to play and pick their favorite. Answers were pretty different, as always:)
It seems lately, that the only way I can get anything done is by sacrificing some sleep. Creating something with an eight month old on your lap is more stressful then fun :)

Got to go now! Thanks for visiting!

A&A layout

Here is a page I made using new papers by Les papiers de Pandore. I used mostly papers from Pause Cafe and one paper from Home Sweet Home. I like how well these collections coordinate with each other.

 A few close ups:

And keeping up with a tradition, I did a matching card. Just now I remembered that I didn't take a picture of it... I'll try to add it here later. It's a birthday card finally. Need to make many more of those.

Thanks for visiting!

Yay!

Hello! Happy Monday everyone! I don't know about yours, but my Monday was a very happy one - I got a package with new products from Les Papiers de Pandore! I fell in love with these papers the first time I saw them online, but let me tell you, they look even yummier in real life! Here is Pause Cafe:

And this is Home Sweet Home:

And these are probably my favorite two pieces of these collections:

It didn't take me long to cut them up into pieces. Now I can play with them!

If you noticed, some of the papers weren't full sheets, that because I already started making my first layout. I hope to be back tomorrow with a full picture of it, when I add journaling to the page. Here is a sneak peek:

I love every single sheet of paper in both of these collections! It's a rare occasion for me, but Beatrice Garni did such a wonderful job designing them. I can see myself using up every inch of these papers!

And that's all for today, but I will be back soon!

Have a great day!

A page for Les Papiers de Pandore

Good morning! I would like to share another layout I made for Les Papiers de Pandore. I tend to make monochromatic pages. But this time I tried to use as many papers and colors from the collection as possible. And I find that making a page in a quilt style is the best way to do so.

   A few close up:

I used pop dots to give dimension to the title.

Besides the grey cardstock, this page was 100% made of things from these two collections - Winter Little Circus and Everyday Portraits. It felt SO good being able to create again.

I guess, I will leave you with a cute smile we get to enjoy everyday:

That picture was picked for Project Life album and I thought I'll share it here since we love it so much!

There's one more thing I wanted to mention. I use online calendar for my Project Life. Besides moths and days, this site has weeks labeled too! It's great for PL if you do weekly spreads. You can check that site at Calendar365.com. I'm even thinking about saving my photos by week now. Will see how it works.

Thanks for stopping by and I'll see you next time!

Have a great day!

LO "Moment"...

Good morning! I'm back. Still trying to find the best way, time and spot in the house to photograph finished projects. Sometimes even a great camera doesn't help. These pictures were taken by the window, and you can tell that by the harsh shadows on the left side of the page... Any tips?

Here is the 12x12 layout I made using Little Winter Circus and Everyday Portraits collections by Les Papiers de Pandore :

Making this page was a great reminder how much I really love scrapbooking! Having great products to work with is even better! I cut up the "moment" journaling card in half, adding one portion at the top of the pictures and the other one at the bottom, making it look like one long card.

I also used a stamp by Les papiers de Pandore, which I embossed in white embossing powder. And to support the stamping idea, I went ahead and embossed a few butterflies...

... and white cardstock, that I laid underneath the journaling card. Wanted to keep the page pretty light, to represent the innocence of little children in these photos.

I've told you before how versatile these papers are and I just love it! Make sure you visit their site for more awesome ideas! Thank you Les papiers de Pandore for great products!

Have a great day and I'll see you soon!

Quick post

Still hard to believe, but it seems like Christmas season is in full bloom! Last week we were at the mall and some stores had Christmas music on already. It also seems like yesterday was the last warm day of the year...

After that visit to the mall, I got in the mood to create something wintery... that's where this very simple card was born:

Today, I was working on a new page, which I plan to finish and share with you tomorrow. Loved to work with a different color scheme for a chance. While writing this post I got a surprise at my door:

- a package with papers from Les papiers de Pandore! So excited to create something with the given product! That's it for today, but I hope to be back very soon!

Thanks for stopping by!

One kit = Fourteen projects!

Hello! First of all I wanted to share an exciting news - I was honored to be a guest blogger at Two Peas in a Bucket on November 8th, which was yesterday! They featured my summer mini album, I shared here earlier. You can check the post over at Two Peas HERE:

And now I decided to make a summery of my kit adventure. You've probably seen all of these projects already throughout the last few weeks, but I wanted to gather them up all together.

I was inspired by a video Shimelle Laine did on NSD, where she made a kit and then created as many projects as she could. You can watch that video HERE. And there's another video by her where she explains how she puts her own kits together, which can be watched HERE. My adventure started with my own homemade kit. It was based a little on one of the kits from Studio Calico.

Studio Calico at left. What I had to work with is on the right picture. I decided to go one step further and calculate the price of my kit. Here we go: 11 sheets of pattern paper by Studio Calico, Echo Park, MME, American Crafts and Pebbles; 1 alphabet sticker sheet by Basic Grey, yellow tiny stickers by LYB, one embellishment sheet by Echo Park, five 6x6 pieces of paper by Echo Park, MME; one package of white peals, labels by Martha Steward and 5 pieces of colored cardstock - all came up to a little under $15. I also used unlimited amount of white cardstock. But white cardstock in scrapbooking for me is like water in cooking recipes for others - which I don't count :)

HERE IS WHAT CAME OUT OF IT:

I tried to vary supplies between projects as much as possible trying hard not to make them look all the same. I used some printable cards and a stamp I already owned. Besides that, everything else came from that tiny pile.

The result is - I was able to make 14 projects for just under 15 dollars! I was trying to make a point here and now I can FINALLY say it - SCRAPBOOKING DOESN'T HAVE TO BE EXPENSIVE!

If you are new to scrapbooking, and don't want to get into it because of expense of the hobby, think again! You can gather a supplies to make a kit and then work with it. You don't have to use it to the last drop, like I did, but it is so fun and less time spent on pulling out supplies for each project when you work with a kit.

One last picture :) Ready for a new adventure now... there are so many of them I don't know which one to choose - catching up on PL, sewing something, learning more about Silhouette, making a photo book to give to grandparents for Christmas, trying a new recipe, making Christmas cards, doing Home Decor project, assembling December Daily. That is one exciting list!

Thanks for coming over! Have a great day!

PINCH ME!

Good Morning! A VERY GOOD MORNING here with a super exciting news! I am so honored to have been selected as a guest designer for this winter over at Les papiers de Pandore! You can visit their site for the announcement HERE, and while there check their amazing products!
I will have a privilege to work with their two beautiful new lines. Here are some awesome products they make.

As you may have noticed, grey is my favorite neutral right now. I'm always drawn toward collections with grey in it. While I'm still processing the news, I will try my best to get the layout on my table done, so I can share it with you.

Thank you everyone who stops by! Thank you Les papiers de Pandore!

Have a great day and I'll see you soon!
