Hi! I couldn't get back here last night to add a picture of a card, so instead of posting it here by itself, I decided to make two more. I just love to use up leftover after a page to make cards. Here is my newest set:
For the cards I used: papers by Les Papiers de Pandore, flowers from Prima, brad from My Mind's Eye, stamp set by Fiskars, ribbon, cardstock and pearls. And if you are interested here is each of them a little closer in the order they were created.
One:
Two:
Three:
My girls (and nieces) like to play and pick their favorite. Answers were pretty different, as always:)
It seems lately, that the only way I can get anything done is by sacrificing some sleep. Creating something with an eight month old on your lap is more stressful then fun :)
Got to go now! Thanks for visiting!

A&A layout
Here is a page I made using new papers by Les papiers de Pandore. I used mostly papers from Pause Cafe and one paper from Home Sweet Home. I like how well these collections coordinate with each other.
A few close ups:
And keeping up with a tradition, I did a matching card. Just now I remembered that I didn't take a picture of it... I'll try to add it here later. It's a birthday card finally. Need to make many more of those.

Yay!
Hello! Happy Monday everyone! I don't know about yours, but my Monday was a very happy one - I got a package with new products from Les Papiers de Pandore! I fell in love with these papers the first time I saw them online, but let me tell you, they look even yummier in real life! Here is Pause Cafe:
And this is Home Sweet Home:
And these are probably my favorite two pieces of these collections:
It didn't take me long to cut them up into pieces. Now I can play with them!
If you noticed, some of the papers weren't full sheets, that because I already started making my first layout. I hope to be back tomorrow with a full picture of it, when I add journaling to the page. Here is a sneak peek:
I love every single sheet of paper in both of these collections! It's a rare occasion for me, but Beatrice Garni did such a wonderful job designing them. I can see myself using up every inch of these papers!
And that's all for today, but I will be back soon!
Have a great day!

Purple and lavender...
Today I was creating in purple and lavender. Unfortunately this creation wasn't for a happy occasion. My cousin lost a grandmother on her husband's side. I've never met this woman, but I believe she was a very nice person, making that conclusion by how much her family members wanted to get flowers in her favorite colors.
I also did a little basket with same flowers, since I had some leftovers, especially in greens. They didn't order this one, but I think it would be nice if they gave it to one of the close family member...
If you know me, you probably know that I work with flowers often and I love doing that. I don't share a lot of that here, but thought I'll add a picture here today. I know, this is not one of the happiest posts, but such is life - "В нашей жизни встречи, расставания, грусть и радость тесно сплетены..."
Until next time...

Soup of the month...
My mom shared a recipe with me and my family fell in love with this new soup. It is super healthy and tastes really good. But, I guess, you have to be a seafood lover to like this one:) My family loves seafood and likes trying something new too, so it was a good experiment.
I have made it twice in the past month and my kids are asking for it again.
Basically, you start by cooking potatoes, cut into small pieces, (bay leaf, one whole onion and a celery stick - these will be removed at the end). When potatoes is almost done, add cut up fish, shrimp and scallops. Add broccoli and asparagus, a piece of ginger, and a few pieces of garlic. Finish by adding lots of fresh greens - parsley and dill, salt, pepper. Done. Try not to overcook vegetables. They still had nice green color when I made it.
I judge recipe by how well a 4-year-old eats it. She loves this one!Sorry for not including the bowl of cooked soup. I guess it was smelling too good, so we stated eating it right away and forgot about a picture:)
Having a few sick family members in the house:( That's why I could not create much this week. Hope to be back soon though!
See you!

Just a few more cards...
Hello! It's snowing beautifully here! Hope there will be enough of it to cover the world in white! Meanwhile, I just wanted to share a few more cards I did lately. These are pretty simple.
One more in red/white/black color combination. Added washi tape on the side in two different patterns. I made this one with Alyonka in mind. She is a little obsessed with anything French. Eiffel tower is a downloadable shape from Silhouette online store.
Here I just used a lot of banners cut from different yellow pattern papers. Added glitter to my flower to make it a little more special.
More yellow/black color on the card. I stamped these butterflies with silver pigment ink. I like how much softer they look then stamping in black. I see myself using a lot of this ink in the future.
And while I had a whole lot of yellows scattered around my table, I decided to use them all on one card creating a sun shape. I zig-zag stiched all the seams here.
I will be back soon with more. Hopefully I get a chance to make a page now. I have started one two weeks ago, but it's just sitting on the table waiting to be worked on.
Thanks for stopping by! See you soon!

Happy Valentines Day!
Hello! I'm actually back today. I did make a few cards yesterday. Not as much as I wanted to, but three is better than nothing. White/red/black color combination... For my first one I cut out a whole bunch of roses, inked their edges and arranged them in the heart cut out.
Finished it off with glitter letter stickers and some rhinestones.
Both hearts a re raised off the base of the card with pop dots. I just LOVE these glitter alphabet sticker's! They just make your project so much more special. By the way - they are 60% off at Michael's right now! Can't beat that!
And a third one is pretty simple. I was planning to add "Warm wishes" sentiment to it, but didn't want to waist that many stickers on it. The idea of steam coming out in heart was seen somewhere, don't remember exactly.
Another rose, another pearl. Added twine and washi tape to this one. I've cut the cup twice, cut off the handle and embossed it with swiss dots, then added on top of the first one.
I really enjoyed making these. Wish I can spend more time and make a few more...
Thanks for stopping by! Say "hello" if you were here, that makes me happy and motivated for new adventures:) Have the best Valentines Day ever!
See you next time!

Number two was made on top of piano pattern paper. Instead of roses, I added a whole lot of hand cut leaves, that were needed to lighten it up a bit, since the background was pretty dark. Added a leftover rose from previous card.

On my table...
My desires just don't meet with my opportunities lately... Today is February thirteenth and I still didn't make a single card Valentines Day related. I picked out some products from my stash, which look very tempting to cut into pieces and make something out of it, but the question is "When?"
This is what I have on the table right now, and hopefully, I'll be able to make something out of it today. With four children, where one of them is four years old and the other one is 8 month old, it seems like I constantly have to press "pause" on my creativity button.
But my hopes are high for today, since my older daughter gave me a gift of sparkling clean kitchen yesterday. Between cooking, laundry and kids, I hope to stop by my corner a few times :)
Have a beautiful day and I'll see you soon!

Cards for Mom...
I have two cards to share today. I have been carrying one of these these ideas for a very long time, and last week I finally decided to transfer it to a card. Basket full of flowers...
I used a mini glue dot for every flower, otherwise they wouldn't stay in place. Finished these flowers off with a pearl. I like this purple/aqua color combination.
The second one was made this morning. I have used a similar idea for a card before, but this time I used wood grain pattern paper for the fence and inked edges of it with dark brown ink pad, which added a little more dimension to it.
I had an older paper pad by K&Company to make these cards. All the flowers on this card were hand cut from one of the papers in the pack.
There's a whole list of the cards I still want to make... But my helpers don't always let me... Sometimes they sit still, but that doesn't happen often and it doesn't last long...
I'll be back to share more when I get more done!
Have a great day!

Winter page...
Is it still Tuesday? Sharing my last two projects for Les papiers de Pandore. This time it's a winter layout. I used all the greys from the kit and the red paper. Added blue cardstock to match the blues in my photos. Here is what I got:
You know I can't finish a page without some pearls on it :)
A Little Winter Circus has a fun sheet of paper with journaling cards and pieces that can be cut out.
I used one of them for my card:
Since I had two of the same sheets, I decided to cut pieces from one journaling card to add dimension to the other one.
While working with these two collections, I made a surprising discovery about myself... I LOVE working with kits. I love the challenge of having limited supplies! It works for me, because otherwise I spend way too much time picking out papers and searching for that perfect one, when all ten I've tried before would've worked just fine.
Thanks for stopping by today and I'll see you soon!
Have a great day!

Layout and a card...
Hello, I'm back as promised. Today I planned to share my last two layouts for Les Paperies de Pandore, but instead I have a layout and a card. My second page needs journaling yet. I will try to get it done tonight so I can post it tomorrow. Notice, I don't always keep my promises regarding the next post :)
This time I wanted to concentrate on yellows and oranges in the collection. This gave me an idea to look for fall pictures.
I love these new flowers! If you like them too, here is my little secret how to make them :
They have these in a few different colors - light green, peach, baby pink. I bought just one to see if it will actually work the way I imagined it. And I think it did.
That will be everything for today, and I'll see you tomorrow!
Have a great day!

By adding green cardstock, I think it gave the page a totally different feel.
Banners were cut with my favorite tool - Cameo. I adhered them first and then stitched across the top.
And here is a card in similar colors.
